Welcome to the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Executive Women's Golf Association. We formed the chapter in 1999 with ladies primarily in the Naples area. We recently changed our name from the Naples Chapter to the Southwest Florida Chapter, and our members stretch all the way from Marco Island to Naples to Ft. Myers and beyond to Cape Coral.

Fairway Friends and Chapter Buddies--Volunteers wanted!
Sue Mandry and Audrey Bashaw will be heading up our Fairway Friends program this year and they are looking for volunteers to be mentors and those new golfers who would like to take advantage of the program. Fairway Friends™ is a mentoring program available to EWGA members that offers experienced, but not necessarily scratch golfers an opportunity to support the mission of the EWGA by providing opportunities for members newer to the game to learn all about golf – like etiquette, pace of play and the basic rules of the game – in a fun, supportive and noncompetitive environment.
Sue and Audrey are also establishing a "Chapter Buddies" Program.  All new members, regardless of their golf abilities, will be matched with an existing member who they can contact if they have questions about the chapter, chapter events, how to register, etc.  This way every member will feel "connected" to our chapter from day one!
If you have questions or need more information about these programs or would like to volunteer, please contact Sue or Audrey We were all new to the game and chapter at some point, so please "pay it forward" and volunteer!

New Year--New Email??
Many of us have more than one email or have to change them for a variety of reasons. The 123 Signup system that we use is email based, not name based, so when you register for any of our events, if you are having trouble registering, it may be that you are using a different email address than the one we have on file for you.  If that is the case, or you are not sure which email you gave when you joined, please contact Barb Schanmier,, and she can help you.  If you try to register using an email that is not on file with 123, you will either not be able to register or you will go in as a non-member which may cause you to be charged the higher non-member fee.  So remember to let us know if any of your profile information changes.
Thanks!  Barb Schanmier

In preparation for our Chapter Championship on May 17, at our May Social Event we will be hosting our helpful clinic on all of the little things that help during tournament play. Keeping in mind that every round of golf is fun, we will cover some of the little things that get overlooked in casual games that might present as a problem in tournament play. Plus, we will provide the correct way to take a drop, let you know that you have options and help you determine which one is better in different situations. Stay tuned for the specifics.

Click here  to register for an SWFL EWGA event.

  • ALL members, guests and non-members of SWFLEWGA must go to our 123 signup system to register for all events by the stated deadline and BEFORE arriving at the event.  Here's the procedure:
  • CLICK ON THE
  • You will almost immediately get a confirmation email back saying you have registered.
  • If you do not receive that email, you are not registered, so please contact Barb Schanmier, our 123 Administrator, immediately. There is no danger of being charged twice for an event as the system prevents registering more than once.
  • If you haven't registered or want to bring a guest after the registration deadline but before the actual event, please contact the Event Coordinator to see if there is still availability.
  • For most events, if the event sells out, you can still register and you will be put on a wait list.  The wait list will be in the order registrations are received (no skipsies!).  The Event Coordinator will contact you if you are able to attend.
  • If you have successfully registered for an event but need to cancel prior to the stated cancellation deadline, please contact the Event Coordinator as there may be a waiting list.
  • If you are entitled to a refund, you will receive a check in the mail (less the $10 cancel fee) within 30 days.
  • And lastly, paying by credit card (MC, Visa or Discover, no AMEX) when you register is the recommended method of payment. We do not accept credit cards at most of our events.
